Scotland will not have a seat at the EU table.
They will be at the mercy of Guy and his elite body of chosen ones.
Let them have it
We we we
They they they

Union you say!? Dosent sound like it!

Roll on indy... cant wait!
What has that link got to do with Scotland not having a seat at the table even if they are in the EU?
It’s tinker bell :-)
Why would Scotland not be a full member of the EU?
You're clearly not listening to me or Mr Verhofstadt ...you just keep kidding yourself, TCL.
What's he been saying then?
If you don't know Guy's vision of Europe by now...I wouldn't bother.
Have you and TTT been having a chat to-night?
//Why would Scotland not be a full member of the EU?\\
Because Scotland, like the rest of the UK, is no longer a member and would have to apply to rejoin.
I've not said Scotland would remain in the EU.
Guy says he wants ''not a commission of 28 but a small commission''

''you cannot govern a continent like Europe if you still need the approval of all 28 member states''

So in his Europe, he doesn't care about getting approval from Scotland...you will be insignificant.
If Scotland wants true independence it should not rejoin the EU even if allowed.
Wanting to leave the UK to join the EU does smack of anti-English sentiment.
This is reminiscent of the 'Auld Alliance' between Scotland and France.
it does seem counter productive to leave the UK then get to rejoin the EU.
surely that's even more under the thumb than they are currently.
and i don't think they are under the thumb here, not for a long while
not only that, if they were remotely allowed to join the club that is the EU, what currency do they have, because it sure as hell won't be the Euro.
Are Scots actually aware of the joke that the EUSSR call democracy?
If asked, now, what would the average Scot say regarding democratic accountability in Eurania?
i think i remember Nocola stating that they want to keep the pound?
ROY, do you have links for those quotes?
I don't make stuff up.
If it breaks away from the union and then (maybe) flounders around like a lonely friendless obese turtle with a bleak future, then perhaps in time they will learn their mistakes and rejoin.

Much like Brexit I suppose.

Worth a gamble though, right?
