Kent.the New "Toilet"County Of England.
Just off from reading the Gruadian,i see a few business types are busy replacing the "garden"bit from road signs and replacing them with "toilet" signs down in Kent.(Because all the problems this Brexsh*t is going to cause).Co-incidentally,i have just been told today that i mightnt have a job next year thanks to Brexsh*t.Boss might be moving production to Poland.Thanks,Brexiteers.

Her obsession with independence is as ill timed & stupid as Boris' new found enthusiasm for the banning of petrol cars by 2030, what a moment to bring that in! Covid & Brexit are plenty enough to deal with, & George is correct to point this out, he deserves & should get plenty of support up there:...

In a democratic vote, the majority of UK voters chose Brexit in 2016. Before thanking Brexiteers, those who live in Scotland and lose their jobs through Brexit have their fellow Scottish voters in another democratic process to thank. Based on the population balance, in 2014 the choice was made to relegate Scotland permanently to an irrelevant minority in any UK democratic process based on a majority decision. That decision was at least in part arrived at as a result of the assertions by one faction that an independent Scotland would be cast into the wilderness, out of the EU. The fact that Scots want to remain in the EU was always (post 2014) going to be of no relevance to the UK and it could be argued that (given the majority trend) Scottish voters might as well not have bothered to vote in the 2016 referendum. Those who voted No in 2014 ensured Scotland's EU membership, and much else, would always be up to those south of the border to decide.
Errr,Karl, have you noticed the Brexs**t negotiations,if it has taken six years to get out of Europe, which we only joined in 1973,imagine the shennanigans if Scotland foolishly tries to seperate from its nearest neighbour and friend which we have had for three hundred years.Just like Cameron,if Scotland does decide to leave our friends,i believe Sturgeon will resign and leave others to pick up the (very messy)mess.
@14.45.Yes,Roy.But our seafood exports go via Dover. Its seafood remember, doesnt last very long even in a refrigerated lorry.More than two weeks it starts to go off.If the factory is moved to Poland then the lorries can get to Spain in three days. Its all about the freshness of the product. At present the fisherboats land their catches at Fraserburgh,Peterhead and Scrabster. The boats will just have to do a wee bit more distance to Gdansk.
God help Scotland if Galloway gets in:-

oh boys and girls
I have to apologise to ALL and sundry
I treated all the people of Kent as irredemiably stupid which was wrong - very wrong of me. How wrong I was.
I heard their MP on the radio this morning
he didnt like lock down - didnt see how it worked - DID see that it was obviously useless and also harmed the economy.
and he was gonna damn well vote against the renewed restrictions so that people cd exercise their hard won liberal freedoms of yore
by comparison I can now see the people of Kent are einsteins of theory and aquinases of reflection. I apologise
[o just pretend you know who Einstein and Thomas Aquinas was ]
