Crimes like these? Every case is unique so how could you define the criteria that would ensure that a life sentence meant serving a full term?

It should come as no surprise that yet another prisoner is released mid-term.

There will continue to be many more horrific crimes where offenders are released too early in many folk's eyes...

The amount of time spent on remand before conviction will have been taken into account. This is standard practice.

Murderesses, especially where the victims are children, have always been reviled worse than murderers. She was convicted of manslaughter, the right verdict, but there is a very thin line between manslaughter and murder.

But people don't rot in prison, they have a lifestyle (free of charge) of a higher standard than (for example) many occupants of Care Homes.

She does not deserve such a cushy number, so release her and let her take her chance.
