the SNP has an agenda ‘Scottish independence’
it is not NS forcing it on the SNP, pretty much the reverse.
If she didn’t do what the SNP as a party want, she would not last very long

Scotland has about 8% of uk population, the other 92% will still be there if the SNPs goal is reached. Not much of a split more a shaving.
