believe it or not.
Must be a v serious matter, bailed to the Crown Court(Jan5th) when she appeared at the Magistrates.
Something to look forward to in the New Year?
"how's the Tory MP accused of rape getting on? Still under name suppression, I suppose." We can all do non-sequiturs - here's mine; How's the racist Labour MP who stated "White people love divide and rule" getting on. Or... How's the former Labour leader and celebrated Jew-Hater with his Hamas "friends" getting on Or... How's the former Shadow Chancellor...
YMF; Does your post mean that you agree with the implication of some responses here that the OP reference to the religion was unnecessary and makes one wonder if there is an agenda here?
I have no idea in this instance, I was simply relying to the post that wrote //What's the relevance of her faith?// and surmising on how religion (in general) could be relevant.
I'm surprised no-one replied that 'vicar' or 'RC priest' is often used to headline that someone had been charged with an offence. I think that it's the so-called high moral ground people that prompt the religious link to be mentioned.
Atheist, there's a difference between "Vicar charged" and "Christian charged". The accused here isn't an imam, just a woman with a head covering (itself an offence in the eyes of many pale males, of course).
