Zimbabwe on C4 news last night.
Did anyone see the special report on the plight of the people, I dont know too much about the past history of the country but I think Mugabe has a cheek to ask the united nations to help them. IMO they should only help if he and his murderous thugs leave the country, any opinions?

My parents almost had their papers stamped for emigrating to Rhodesia (Ian Smith then) but dad couldnt find his apprenticeship papers. They were crying out for people like us to bring the country back to prosperity.
Look what Mugabe did the the 'white settlers' (that would have been us).
Is everyone aware that Mugabe is almost one of the richest men in the world (havent googled recently but I did a couple of months ago) from one of the most impoverished countries.
He is more a tyrant than Saddam and that is saying something but like Chessman he has no oil so his country is of no worth to the western world.Sorry meant Bush!!!
Suppose if miracal of miracals the western world did do something about it, there would be outcrys of foul play again.
We know that Zimbabwe has no oil but I don't for one minute think there would be any thanks to the west if we did something more than just put sanctions against Mugabe. There would be outrage that once again we have poked our noses in where we shouldn't have. Mugabe is the problem. He will continue to be the problem, until some on has the guts to put a stop to him. What I hate most is the backlash that comes when ever something is done. Saddam killed his own people and brought nothing but terror and when ended for what ever the reasons we were told it was wrong. If we did the same to Mugabe do you think we would face the same condemnation.
Your damned if you do and you damned if you don't.
