Bobbi, many on here seem to see him a a bungling PM and would have had anyone in the job than him, some have suggested who they would have liked but none was so popular in leading Brexit for example. The party chose him not the populace at large, i suspect that you will get a lot of anti Boris posters on now. Good luck

Well the Brexit problem is one of his making, if the virus obviously isn’t. He had plenty of time to undo his own stupid insistence on pursuing these talks at this time.

I can think of several politicians of Conservative or Labour I’d have more faith in than this one, more importantly you could probably stick a pin in W list of Tory MPs and come up with a better list of candidates than the current cabinet, but he’s the one we’ve got so it’s essentially a pointless question.

If the new “variant” is as spreadable as feared then lockdowns are probably pointless. It’s just a question of trying to vaccinate people as fast as possible

He hasn't actually 'dealt' with any of the things you mentioned, yet, Bobbi. They are still ongoing problems.
As for whether so and so would have done any better or worse? We'll never know, will we. Though there are those on here who seem to think they do know.

Morning Bobbie. I have never been overly worried about the pandemic, but this new mutant strain is a worry indeed. When will it ever end. Let's hope we never see it's like again.

It really isn’t a question of Labour or Conservative. There isn’t going to be an election: but patience with him is wearing thin with his own MPs. Not that I have any sympathy with them

you can't change leader it has to be with the consensus of MP isnt it, a vote of no confidence and now wouldn't be the time to do it

No thanks. I would not want to be PM.
However, I do not think we are the only country suffering with this particular variant of infection. I have a feeling that it will 'eventually' be found elsewhere and the source will be blamed on us as we are the first ones to admit it exists. Does anyone else think the same?

Whether or not any of us would want his job is totally irrelevant. The fact is Boris wanted to be PM so bad it hurt. The party elected him as leader, and the populace at large voted him in as our PM - mainly on the Brexit ticket - to make all his dreams come true.
