Ian Blackford describes the deal as a "disaster for Scotland" - would no deal be less of a disaster for Scotland? Tell you what mate it's the SNP that's the real disaster for Scotland. Ok ok I get it they are having a tantrum because they are leaving the EUSSR "against their will" so they are protesting, it makes slightly more sense than the Labour lot who are voting against. Completely radio the lot of them!

Yes, Jackdaw, I have just watched Ian Blackford in the debate in the Commons. This man has no shame in his utter hypocrisy.
Something seems to be constantly irritating him, I think he might have piles.
Thanks for the injection of humour, Khandro. I feel despair when I see Sturgeon, Blackford et al, so humour definitely welcome. It's also depressing to see how ineptly most journalists deal with the SNP. The ones in Scotland are too scared to get in their bad books, the London ones not sufficiently briefed. Only Andrew Neil can skewer them.
Nicola Sturgeon has called for a pause in Brexit.
This was a very sensible idea up until Christmas Eve.
Now tho it’s plainly a gesture as it’s pretty obvious that the lesser of two evils is coming to pass.
But it makes perfect political sense for the SNP to very publicly oppose it. They have nothing to lose and as they see it lots to gain.

Pass the thing now.
Wash our hands of it in future or parts of it. But the honest thing to do for now is not to stand on the sidelines but to help it through rather than hiding behind the “yeses”
i dont get it, snp want to independent in the eu, is that not a oxymoron
what is it that they actually want, is they hate the u.k so much.
how cna they be independent in the eu, anyone know ?
It really is perfectly simple!

The SNP believes that continuing to be a part of the UK is bad for Scotland, but they believe that being a member of the EU would be good for Scotland. That's it in a nutshell.
