had the PM in the studio this morning and referred to him as 'Boris'. Can't imagine that he previously referred to Margaret, Tony, Gordon, Dave or Teresa.

I'd go with jno given a preference but it really doesnt bother me what people call themselves.

I dunno, footballers manage it - themanager always talks about "the player" even when referring to a specific one. The players always refer to the "the manager"

not when they're actually talking to each other, though, bednobs. It's not a matter of Marr saying "The prime minister thinks..." but "What do you think, prime minister?"

Fine when they're just talking about each other. But when addressing each other, "Mr Johnson" or "Oi, you" would suffice.

I don’t know the leader of the Tory’s but refer to him as Boris acause my predictive text come up with Boris when I want to write summit else .

whatever Mr Marr calls the PM, he got the gig and yet again Piers Morgan is still waiting.......

I was going to say that the content of the interview was more important, but with any interview with any PM /politician, and whoever is conducting the interview, the out come is always the same. No content, questions un-answered, and with Boris more than anyone of them, just lots of bumbling on about nothing, knowing that the clock is ticking by, and sooner or later the clock will bring an end to the so called interview, that's the only skill politicians have, wasting time, and avoiding questions.

Of course Boris gets site of the questions he will be asked before the interview. The Producer or an Assistant will ask him how he would like to be addressed too. Boris's 'team' will have also given a list of things to Production that he will not be drawn on, which could be personal things or delicate political questions.

Not ONCE did Marr call him "Boris" during the half hour interview and after the interview thanked him as 'Boris Johnson' for coming in.
