Exploiting The Capitol Riot To Kill Trump
' Donald Trump has stumbled and fallen, and the establishment is not going to let slip this last opportunity to stomp him and his movement to death.
On Sunday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued a startling ultimatum:
Either Vice President Mike Pence and the Trump Cabinet invoke the 25th Amendment, declare the president “unfit” for office, and remove him within 24 hours, or House Democrats will vote to impeach him again.
As the Senate, which would have to hear the case and hold the trial, does not meet again until Jan. 19, the day before Joe Biden is inaugurated, what is going on here? It sounds absurd, like rushing to hang a man who is going to die the next day.
But such is the blind hatred of Pelosi’s House for Donald Trump.
“House Democrats want veto power over whom Republicans can nominate.”
Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina suggests holding off sending a bill of impeachment to the Senate for 100 days, to give Biden a chance to get his appointees confirmed, and then indict and convict Trump of sedition when he is a private citizen.
What would be the purpose of impeaching a president who hasn’t been president for three months?
Answer: A conviction would strip Republicans of the right to reelect the man who got the largest number of votes in their party’s history.
House Democrats want veto power over whom Republicans can nominate. And this is the crowd that does not cease to bray about its devotion to “democracy.”.............'

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ."He will be in effect" isn't the same as "he will be in fact and law". You shouldn't need to be reminded of what went down in 2016, and what nearly went down in November (22,000 people switching their vote across three states would have won it for Trump, out of a total electorate of 155 million, ie a 0.01% swing), despite the fact that Trump's moral inadequacies were already known by 2016 and certainly 2020. Leaving it only to "in effect" simply doesn't cut it.
Impeachment can also be for egregious misconduct that isn't specifically a crime. It's similar to the "unlawful v. illegal" distinction, the distinction in this case being that Impeachment is reserved also for "High Crimes", ie Crimes that most citizens wouldn't even be capable of committing, because they are only possible when holding High Office. I suppose an absurd example would be trying to start a war without support of Congress.
More mundane crimes that Trump is (likely) guilty of include tax fraud, election law violations in various States such as Georgia; you could probably add sexual assault to the mix as well. Many of these haven't really been pursued in the last few years, at least beyond attempts to gather evidence, because as President Trump has enjoyed virtual immunity from criminal prosecution.

TTT; //inciting a riot is I believe a crime.//
This may be true, though what exactly 'inciting a riot' actually means is a fairly subjective affair; if someone said "let's go to Capitol Hill, break in & smash up the joint", that would undoubtedly constitute incitement, but Trump didn't say that, or anything like it. The phrase is being bandied about by the msm as thought it were fact, or perhaps you can give some hard evidence that that is what he has done?

Trumo will make history as it seems certain he’ll be impeached twice.
I was unsure of this before but I don’t think Trump’s actions can go unchallenged while he’s in office, and I think it’s gone beyond nut wanting to stir further divisions. There are armed protests already planned for 59 states. What do you do: hide from the fascists and weirdos or confront them?

There is a lot of evidence apparently on Parler that the attack was pre-planned. Someone was able to hack the server before Amazon turned it off, and copy all the evidence.
That does not prove Trump incited the riot. It was already going to happen. But Trumps rhetoric and demeanour did not deter them, it encouraged them to go through with it. Not sure if that’s a crime in the US. Senate and Courts will have to decide.

//do you believe that the democrats stole the 2020 election//
What I believe or don't believe is immaterial, what counts are facts & there are grounds for believing that there are certain murky areas in that election, but that is always par for the course in US elections.
What is certain is that Trump is the man who got the largest number of votes in their party’s history (74 million) & will be succeeded by a president and vice president who will be in their offices not because of the great campaign they conducted and the brilliant case they made, or even the hope that they will be good in their positions, but by the default setting that they are not Trump.
