I hope not, but if manufacture is slower than they planned, then delivery of our 40 Million doses will be delayed. Irrespective of in or out.
Presumably Boris hasn’t worked that out either, because he has not mentioned anything about an hold up. Perhaps when he misses his 13 million target by the middle of next month, we will be told then.

The get the Pfzier one comes from Belgium and if that is causing delays in Europe, it will probably cause a delay in the delivery of the rest of our order.
We are doing quite well with our roll out, but Boris has set an unrealistic target so it will look like a fail.
The EU approved the vaccine 3 weeks after the UK, so we have been jabbing longer than them, so we have obviously done more.

Perhaps the Belgians were only obeying orders and slowed down the deliveries, calling it a revamp of production techniques, because it was embarrassing some that Britain was getting the job done pronto. Why did they accept more orders and promise a delivery time scale when they couldn't deliver? Though that sort of thing was outlawed in the "efficient" EUSSR. Perhaps we can sue them or demand squillions of eu monopoly money vouchers in compensation.

Some of the State leaders in Germany (Socialist mainly) wanted to follow the UK/US model and buy their vaccines on the open market.
They were overruled by the CD who insisted they abide by EU rules.
So despite manufacturing one of the vaccines, they were allocated 3m doses (out of the 100m required) with a 3 month wait for their next allocation. (according to the German Health Minister)
