//...the Reverend was now receiving “racist abuse” as a result of his comments"//

Those who live by the sword....

If you throw insults at people you must not be surprised if they throw a few back.
If he thought a tweet like that would gain favourable 'traction' given the atmosphere of blm at the moment, he was woefully wrong.

It was an ill-judged thing to say and he is, correctly, having all of his messages reviewed by the CoE.

It's a real shame that he couldn't find it within himself to give a wholly positive message when writing his tweet.

Yes, if you're 4. He made a stupid comment out of frustration. Making racist comments in return, will only out the racists.
Sorry, I was quoting Peter Butterworth in "Carry On Up The Khyber".

Personally, no. It will take more than words from a deranged junior sky-pilot to upset me. But it was directed at the white British people in this country as a whole and in particular it involved labelling as "cult members" those who applauded a recently deceased white British gentleman who did a lot for this country throughout his life - almost certainly far more than Mr Robinson-Brown is likely to achieve.

Once again, I can only suggest that if those are qualities the Reverend finds so abhorrent he relocates elsewhere because he's going to encounter quite a lot of it.
You've no right to ;-)

the Church of Rome is a church of sinners so you will be welcome ( only Princess Di's er peccadillos proved too much for the Holy Father
I don't think he has a problem with the 'cult' bit...after all he is part of one.

So either the problem is white or British. (I take it no BAME clapped then?)

Notice how most of these gits that we shelter from reality are eager to attach their hatred to anything that they fear may please us? Me too.
Mad,no,Tora. He knew what he was doing.Black racism is just as bad as white racism.
18:20, NJ, yes and I doubt anyone else was either. He was wrong, but we can all see where he was coming from. Using it to send racist threats to him... is still not acceptable, or something you or I would do.
To be descibed as a member of a a cult of white British nationalism I find insulting in the extreme- I was paying respect to an old soldier who served this country, and all in it, for his entire life. I have never been a racist or anything remotely like it, but judging by one persons comments on here, maybe I should review my stance- it appears likely that an anti-white agenda is growing among some people of this country, which I find very sad, but maybe I should prepare myself to defend myself against it. I think NJ's comments are pretty much what many people agree with, including me.

Yep, definitely no fruitcakes there.
Another black racist.
There's lots of them about.
Sir Lenny of Henry is another.

Did he not make a racist comment himself.?
Richtee, you were paying respect ... this nonentity has no respect. People like him create and exacerbate racism. He has nothing to be proud of. Shameful.
