on social media, especially under the news reports. So many people only comment on the headlines and don't bother to read the report, it makes my blood boil. 'Hope he makes a full recovery' (he's dead); 'RIP' (she survived); 'They should bang him up' (he got 8 years); how could they make a child sleep in a caravan? It's freezing!' (it happened in August); 'the police are useless, they should have arrested him' (they did, he's in jail).
That's just from this morning. Other comments I have seen today that have riled me: 'I'm discusted' (I see this a lot - use a spell-checker!); 'Usual suspects' (what does that mean?); 'Hes a site for sore eyes' (hmmm).
no chill pill im afraid. but i have discovered though i have tried to rectify the fact that the spellchecker on ab, doesn't work for me. Chris told me what to do, i did but it still won't spell check.
Emmie, does AB have its own spellchecker? I was only aware of the swear censor. My spellchecker and autocorrect are done by my phone. Does your computer not offer it?
if i type e mails, there is a spell checker on that, but not for anything i type on AB. its annoying as i have to check everything i type, some words one has to be extra careful.
I agree with you about the 'comedians', Bobbi - they are tiresome. Same with Facebook - this morning a lady in my neighbourhood group asked for help with something she cannot do and go mocked mercilessly.
