A Very Nice Day

It’s been sunny and mild where we are.
We took dog for a long walk a few miles away at the coast, and bumped into our next door neighbours who we chatted to for about 20 minutes. We rarely see them as the houses are too far apart so it was lovely to catch up.
We had a chap round later to quote for cleaning the block paving, the fourth quote we’ve had.
Once he’d been and gone, we sat in our summerhouse and had a couple of g&ts before having a FaceTime with second youngest while he was bathing our grandson. After a few verses of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, with actions, we were hoarse and he was ready for bed. Didn’t half lift our spirits though.
Been a bit flat lately so it was really good to have a comparatively nice day.
