Complete over reaction by the staff. Transfer an elderly gentleman to an ambulance, who would notice .? Surround him with umbrellas, ridiculous .

he may also have been transferred with lines in situ, possibly oxygen, its not very dignified for anybody

Off course he would have oxygen and I/v infusions. I doubt there is an ill elderly man in any hospital who wouldn’t . It’s shameful to be ill .
