who have offered me words of support, comfort and advice, during the course of my mums long illness.
She passed away in hospital at 4:30 this morning, unfortunatly with no family by her side but with a nurse. (the hospital staff have been absolutly fabulous with her and got nothing but praise for them)
Just been to say my goodbye to her. I feel strangely relieved.
Sorry for your loss mate, but you have been s first class son and could do no more.
Now I hope your family support each other, and you look after yourself. X
Same from me. Was in same boat myself with family member a few years ago and felt guilty about the feeling of relief but realised that it was the best outcome in the circumstances as it was no life for her and so draining for the famly.
I'm so sorry for your loss Nailt , your Mum is now at peace and pain free and has gone to a better place, I'm pleased you said your goodbyes to her but you'll have your precious memories of her forever
I am so sorry Nailit, I think hospital turned out to be the best place for her. Having not long ago been where you are now I absolutely understand the feeling of relief mixed in with your distress of losing your Mum.
Be kind to yourself and take things at your own speed.
So sorry for you but she is at peace now. The feeling of relief is normal as is all the others that will follow. Take care of yourself and the rest of your family
I am so sorry for your loss Nailit, it's a dreadful thing to see a loved one suffering but she is at peace now. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Well done Nailit, you have come through all the trauma and tragedy with such courage and compassion, I only hope you can find some relief soon.
All my sympathy
I feel your loss, Nailit. No matter how expected her passing, it must still be a bit of a shock and the fact no family were with her at the end must add to the grief, somewhat. The relief you feel is that your mother's suffering is now at an end. I wish you all the strength needed to come to terms with the loss of your mother.
A stalwart, Stokie lady who has slipped away and is now resting and at peace. As her son, you are bound to feel relieved. Watching someone die is mind numbing.
My sincere condolences to you, Nails. Take care xx
