I'm not a particular fan of Piers M. and I don't watch Gmtv, but I do pick up what he says and I am disturbed, to say the least, that a non-conformist voice is being silenced. Freedom of speech is essential in a healthy society - even if it offends - mind/opinion control beckons and that way opens the door to totalitarianism and intolerance.
Like him or loathe him, Mr Morgan has a sufficiently large fan base to justify his employment elsewhere on the network.
He needs to learn the differences between what you can think - anything, what you can say - limited - and what you can say on national television - much more limited.
Once he develops the necessary filters, he will be fit to be let loose on a national broadcasting outlet.
I never watch him as I don't like his style of 'journalism ', so he'll not be missed by me. If he can't take what he gives out, maybe he should re-think how he expresses his views.
In my opinion he made a lot of sense in that exchange with the weatherman, Meghan Markle has single handedly accused the Royal Family of being racist and a lot of Americans will no doubt believe her. She is a dangerous, manipulative woman and Harry is being led by his willy !!
I don't like piers- even though I often agree with him. He comes across as a bully. But an opinion shouldn't be enough to get someone sacked... but walking out of an interview, should be. Totally unprofessional and it does look as though he can give it and not take it.
