Awful. Poor girl. I can't imagine what her poor parents are going through right now.

I was so so hoping for a good outcome.....
Horrendous. Very quick work by the police.
Question Author
Trying to be tactful but would it just be remains after just a week? Why didn’t they say ‘body’? Or is it just a term they use?
Awful outcome and how awful for his children too but have to say seems an amazing piece of police work (not that we know how they focussed on him nor the move to Kent).
Anybody's guess. Might not be a whole body
Question Author
Yes the police have been incredible in this case I agree.
The term "remains" is generally used and I do not think that anything ought to be read into that.

Just horrific: (
I had hoped she might have just had a row with her BF and taken time out. Either way, "human remains" in a wood indicate that some poor soul has met a premature end. RIP.
Question Author
Let’s hope the truth comes out - just why??
So sad. What a beautiful girl. :((
Question Author
She was indeed x
So sad and dreadful for her family. Not a terrible walk as I've done it. Should not end like that though.
// Yes the police have been incredible in this case I agree.//
from beginning to end

I notice that although newspapers have printed the name and photos of the alleged suspect, the BBC, ITV and Sky have not.

This suggests the Met has not released the name of the suspect and I do not think that links should be given to articles naming him.
Question Author
I had no idea that the TV news channels hadn’t named him.
From the link; "Identification may take a considerable time." That would suggest that though a body has been found, it will be in a state of disarray - burned or in pieces.
