I know Mozz that the media were not close and understand about the cameras. But the photos were close up. They should not have been taken at all. If they are the last photos we see of him, why would that please anybody. I would rather remember him as a healthy dignified elderly man. He looked dreadful.
We'll all be there with our cameras Theland! How are you?
I am pleased to know the Duke is now back at home. Hopefully, no more hospital.
I completely agree with those who think the media should have put their cameras away. All we needed was the written report that he'd come out of hospital to be reunited with HM the Queen.
Daft post. Naomi why would I treasure a picture of an elderly man leaving hospital ?
Slow progress thank you. Yes I wish him and his family well.
Why daft, anneasquith? Since you support the actions of the media I can only assume you want to see a picture of an elderly man leaving hospital.
Theland. Are you being discharged with home oxygen ?
Take care Theland. Xx
Another example of the contempt that todays media has for the general public, they think we will only understand if a picture is shown. It's the same as sending a reporter out to stand in the snow so that we understand what snow looks like.

Then perhaps it's up to the general public to stop buying the offending rags. Personally, I don't buy newspapers anymore. If the public spoke with their wallets, then the paps would soon be out of business.
Unnecessary and intrusive photographs inho. If any respect then cameras should have been put away, just a report would have all that was needed..
We haven't had newspapers for decades, but the problem now is that everthing is on TV news and social media. My first glimpses of those photos was on tv news. Intrusive photos of anybody is so wrong.
Divided household.
Mrs sqad thinks its disgusting, intrusive and unnecessary.
Sqad thinks that they are doing their job fo a society that feeds on disasters and despair.
Both Dr and Mrs Sqad are correct!
Sorry, not Dr. - Porters are Mr. ;O)
Apc....you are correct, I am not Dr.....lol
i think the Duke looked thin, pale and pretty much out of it, lets hope that he has some time to recover from his ordeal before his June birthday.
I am no Royalist as you know but I wish the old fella well. I did actually have some time for him, I like people who say it how it is.

Sadly judging by those photos (that I agree should not have been taken) he is on his last legs.
