i am more concerned that if this becomes law, which is why i say read the link it explains what could happen......
I agree Minty
Keep your health problems at home, don't share them and don't introduce new ones.
Quite so emmie.

I'm going to make a move and get things sorted before I go out.

Have a happy day everyone.

Question Author
quite so PP... tony those who have booked are going to be very disappointed and those airlines may just go to the wall...
There will no doubt be those 'holiday desperados' who will have the wherewithal to factor the £5K fine into the overall cost of their jollies. 26 million of us may have had the jab but we can still catch and transmit the virus.
I have no sympathy for those that were selfish enough to book overseas holidays whilst a pandemic is sweeping the world.

I won't cry over their lost money or lack of holiday.
Question Author
but to make it a law if it does that is on thursday.
Question Author
some may have booked a long time ago, some have had their travel cancelled any number of times, i feel sorry for them and overall the travel industry.
I know emmie, but lots of other retailers have suffered as well, one of my neighbours has a hairdressing business, shes been closed for over a year and no prospect of opening until the end of April.
and I feel sorry for hairdressers, small shops, NHS staff, WFH while homeschooling parents.....honestly a holiday abroad is not the be all and the end all. At the risk of channelling Monty Python, we were considered middle class and well off because we had a fortnight in a caravan on the South Coast every year.
Yeah and I think all those who want to go to the pub and get their hair cut during a pandemic are selfish. I hope those facilities never open again.
Question Author
i am aware of all that woof, but the travel industry is on its knees and if it becomes law, no holidays abroad, what then....
Question Author
Prudie, so you hope they all go out of business?
