It does, Khandro but I'm not sure what that has to do with this scenario. If there is a downturn in the economies of other European countries whom we currently do a considerable amount of trade with, then our own economy will be affected, so I'm not sure the word 'dramatically' in your post is correct.
Zacs; //If there is a downturn in the economies of other European countries whom we currently do a considerable amount of trade with, then our own economy will be affected,//
That maybe true, but it will be more than compensated for by the billions of pound/dollar deals being set up by Ms Truss elsewhere in the world. In fact, that's the reason (according to this thesis) that the UK economy will outstrip that of the EU.
sunk: "Active Covid cases in Germany = 169,044
Active Covid cases in the UK = 481,598 " - do I really have to explain that? gawd elp us you are so blinded by your hatred of the UK you have forgotten infant school stats! PMSL!
yep that's about it fender, they just so desperately want bad things to happen to the UK so they can feel they were "right" where as now it's all turning to she-ite over the channel their little dream of paradise is dissolving.
Actually, most remainers want what's best for the country, the same way as most Brits do, but don't let that get in the way of a decent excuse to flex your muscles as blooming usual.
mozz: "Actually, most remainers want what's best for the country, the same way as most Brits do," - then why do they spend so much effort spinning everything against UK?
Even so Tora, most people are more rational in reality, just as most Tories are more rational than you lot tend to be on here. The internet seems to make people more opinionated. AB is a prime example of that.
