have to say I agree with this teacher regarding pupils looking like prostitutes, Kardashian clones and spending more money on prom than they could afford, as well as awful fake tans, being shoehorned into dresses and so on.
Having read down though, he criticized his boss and I reckon that's what done for him!
School children in my local area look awful - yours?

I wonder how the teacher would feel if his pupils publicly commented on what he wears....and no I don't think it would have been different if the teacher hadn't been a bloke.
As with everything where an observation is made, context is everything.
This man is an obnoxious crashing snob and he has no right to look down on and demean young people because their aspirations and notions of attractive appearance are different from his.
His attitude has no place anywhere, let alone a school.
Maybe he will finish up flipping burgers.

also that the teachers who say their pupils arent worth the effort - the pupils dont exactly find them inspiring

I once (only once) attended school wearing white socks and "Hush Puppies". Fortunately my form master did not see me until 3pm when he immediately admonished me in front of the entire form and sent me home. My parents were contacted and reminded of their responsibilities to ensure I attended school properly attired (it wasn't their fault - I'd sneaked into my bedroom and changed before heading out). I got another rollicking from them and my Hush Puppies were locked away and made available only out of school time.
Parents have a responsibility to see their children dress appropriately for school but many schools simply don't care how trashy their pupils look and it seems neither do their parents. I would advise Mr Price to seek a job in the private education sector. He will find his attitudes and practices are well matched to that environment. The schools make sure they instil discipline in their pupils and the parents know how much it costs in missed lessons if their little darlings are sent home for looking like social media "influencers."

Theres a lot of truth in what the teacher said he should of shown more understanding and certainly should of thought about the reaction if he's pupils, there parents and he's bosses read it
