Missing Student With Sickle Cell

He has been missing since 22 March and his mother says the police aren't taking this seriously. Do you think she is right?

Poor boy. It is almost impossible for us to imagine what it must be like to be 19yrs old and suffering with this deadly condition. Many many years ago I spent some time with a group of children who also suffered with sickle cell anaemia, it is a pitiless affliction.

Teenagers have a hard enough time coping with life without having a life-limiting disease. Add in social isolation caused by a pandemic and it must have been very difficult for him to cope.

His mother and his family must be going through hell.

They have now found a body in a pond in exactly the last place he was seen.

Is that because i posted a story to where the police involved in the case had found a body near to the last place he was seen?

Hopkirk, they should have searched area thoroughly and the pond right there, hello!

Sharon ... perhaps the police were concentrating their efforts, at that time, on finding a boy who could still be alive. Had they drained the lake and wasted hours whilst he was slowly fading you would have something else to say.
