Sad News

Sad news to bring you, Campbell cat ( of the photo ) has passed away today at the ripe old age of 18. She had a couple of hours in the sunshine this morning before peacefully slipping away on my lap this afternoon. Think she just hung on a bit longer than the vet thought she would so she could have some time in the garden this week as she always loved being out there in the sunshine.

Yep its hard to take, I had one identical to your's, lost him 3 years ago, but he had a good 17 years.

I so sorry to hear that Campbell has passed way but it's good to know that she simply slipped away on your knee. (I've had a cat do exactly that as well. It's obviously sad but, I feel, always better than a final trip to the vet's surgery).

Thanks all, I was pleased she stayed comfortable enough to pass away at home as you are not allowed to go in with them at the vets. I will find her a nice place of rest in the garden that she loved so much.

What a beautiful cat, so like my precious Bobbi who died at 4 years old. I'm sorry ck, losing a precious pet is terrible. Comfort yourself with the fact she had a lovely long life with you and died in the best place possible. xx

I’m sad for you that you’ve lost your moggy. After 18 years she’s a big part of your life. So glad she went out in such a lovely way and got some sunshine in her last hours
