Sir Alan Duncan.
Sir Alan Duncan Politician Con. Writing in his new book. Describes Johnson as a
Self centered egoist,an embarrasing buffoon with an untidy mind, and sub zero diplomatic judgement, and needs publicity like a drug addict needs cocaine. WOW.
Does anyone on A/B agree with him.

Anyone could have told you that – I’m waiting for Boris to admit that the only reason he backed Brexit was to give him a better chance of becoming PM. He is the sort of person who is willing to flush the country down the toilet for personal gain – not the sort of person you’d want running any country.

Hymie; //The fact that anyone (other than his mother) would think Boris is a suitable person to hold any position of authority is very worrying – are you people oblivious to this man’s past? // !!!
Boris' past is no secret, everyone knows of it, & he never tries to hide it.
And, since when has being a pillar of moral probity in private life been a hinderance to successful leadership ?
This is a man, who history will show, has successfully led Britain out of the quagmire of the EU & is doing an enviable job - from its perspective - of leading the country out of the worst pandemic in modern times & almost dying of it himself while doing so.

hymie: "The fact that anyone (other than his mother) would think Boris is a suitable person to hold any position of authority is very worrying – are you people oblivious to this man’s past? " - would you ratther have had agent Cob? Boris won a landslide at the last election which means many millions voted Tory, if you think that's odd then perhaps you should look a bit closer to home me old china.
I agree with Emmie 100% , imagine having a PM who was happy to be seen with people like Gerry Adams at the graveside of a member of the IRA? And let’s not forget when Boris’s personal life is being laid down on here that Corbyns own brother is instrumental at banging the drum for his leftist ideals , funny how that alludes some, isn’t it?
Emmie, Johnson was sacked from his newspaper job for fabricating quotes (lying, in other words), sacked from the front bench over his lies about an affair he was having despite the woman involved aborting his child. He also lied about having said anything about 70 odd million Turks coming to the UK if we didn't leave the EU. There are many, many more. I know you're his number one fan but, sit down with a stiff drink, the man is a serial liar.
Not only would Corbyn & McDonnell been a disaster during these times (in fact it doesn't bear thinking about!) but their successors ain't doing very well either;
'A new poll released by Survation last night has the Conservatives on track to win in the Hartlepool by-election by a comfortable margin, with the Tories currently sitting at 49% of the vote versus Labour’s 42%. A 20% increase for the Tories since the 2019 general election…
Even worse for Starmer is that the same poll showed his popularity amongst Hartlepool voters was half that of Boris Johnson’s, at just 24% compared to 49%. It looks like the collapse of the Brexit Party / Reform UK (which took 26% of the vote in 2019, and now polls at 1%) has only benefitted the Tories. So much for rebuilding the Red Wall…'
