Very unusual to have a 'safety' on semi-autos and Glocks do not have a safety catch as such.
There are safety mechanisms which require a deliberate trigger pull to fire the gun rather than an accidental one or a drop (say).

Shoota, having never fired a Glock nor a taser, i Googled before i posted to see if tasers had a safety. The piece i read more or less conurs with what you say; "Glocks also have a trigger safety" (which can be felt when pulling the trigger) and "must be depressed when the trigger is pulled."
And, as the guy in your link points out, the gun and the taser must never be adjacent to one another on the belt. Wonder if she'd been on th sauce prior to the incident?

Perhaps the black guy should have been employed as a cop, and the woman should have turned to a life of crime and put something back in it's place by mistake.

it just beggars belief that they hand out guns like water pistols to people like this copper who is a veteran of 26 years yet can still reach for the tazer get the gun and still not realise in time to no shoot the bloke! Un-effing-believable.
