Yes, I know it is a "no asking quiz" but AB is a Q & A site. Members have the choice of whether to answer or not - equally members have the choice of whether to ask the Qs. If members do not want to see any answers they have the choice of not using the quiz Q & A sections.
Actually if I was a quiz setter, I would prefer to have quizzes returned with only a few spaces and a donation, than not to be returned at all. Especially in these times when charities need every penny.
The answers to this quiz have the same 1st letter of the first word as the last letter of the last word. no. 18 Rising average temperatures 6,7 no. 28. Why buy a quiz if you can't be bothered to do it?

Thank you everyone for your help. I do indeed send in entries with blanks and very often send in more than the fee asked for. I also know of quizzers that will not do "no asking quizzes", which denies charities much needed funds.

Ninnynanny - your initial post seemed to suggest that because you had gaps in your answers you would not send in those answers and hence not pay for the quiz. But you have now stated that's not the case. So why, given that you know the quiz setter has stated that the quiz is "no asking", do you think it's reasonable to ignore that rule and ask for help? Since it's up to the quiz setter to decide on the rules for their quiz then surely if you do not like quizzes with "no asking" rules you should not buy that quiz rather than buy it and ask anyway?

And you state that some quizzers will not do "no asking" quizzes which I'm sure is true although I've never understood why anyone would not want to do a quiz just because they couldn't ask for help and hence had to rely on their own abilities to work out the answers. Could anyone who will not do "no asking" quizzes explain?

Why send for or download a "no asking" quiz if you aren't going to respect the quizsetters wishes?
There are lots of quizzes out there which allow you to go wild asking for answers to fairly easy questions (and many do!) and pander to the people who never contribute anything to quizzes but are happy to sit and "help" other quizzers for free!
Your post suggests that you are not a quizsetter.
Maybe you should try a couple and see a lot of effort go up in smoke in a few minutes by a few inconsiderate quizzers who, for some reason, think the "rules" don't apply to them.
