Is it a coincidence that a guy called Wulfrat was on the news talking about a newly discovered animal - which looked like a cross between a wolf and a rat? Will it be named after him?

No it is not a coincidence - Mr Wulffraat was encouraged to go into a career of looking for rare animals in exotic locations specifically because his name sounds a bit like "wolf-rat". According to the Daily Telegraph, it's probably a type of civet cat.
