Maybe a better question would be whether or not you would accept a donation of blood if needed if you knew the status of the person donating it was in the groups newly accepted? I don't think many people would refuse do you?

With the checks they have in place, with the fact that all blood is tested for infection prior to being put into the system, then yes, this is perfectly fine. More usable donations can only be a good thing.

I don't see a problem. It's not the 80s when aids was hard to treat and more or less a death sentence. Testing has completely moved on.

I don't know if you've ever given blood, TTT, but the rely on your honesty because it's just a form......anyone could lie about their sexuality or what countries they have visited.
