As more people get vaccinated it's becoming unfit for purpose. I have been double vaccinated so I have deleted from my phone. Yes I know there is a very small risk I could pass it on but that's what it is, very small, not worth ending up with millions of people laid off from work for 10 days, "just in case" plus those who use it as an excuse to put their feet up at home because they have been pinged. It will end up doing more damage to the economy than the virus itself. Time for us all to get rid of it now.

Well it's estimated that by the end of July there could be around 3m people self-isolating. This is absolutely ludicrous. The idea of the vaccination programme was to enable the country to return to some semblance of normality. But at every turn the government seems intent on scotching that idea. When everything was locked down it was great way of getting a couple of weeks off work.

Now I've got things coming up in the diary that I don't want to miss I'll obviously be ignoring it along with everyone else.
It was a step too far for me to volunteer to be tracked and traced by big brother so I've never had it. When we were vulnerable we stayed home, now that we're vaccinated we remain cautious but realistic.

We eat lunch out often. If asked if I've signed in I say yes done that, or, oh yes I'll do that and fumble about looking like I'm doing so. The app is no longer relevant, just another stick with which to beat the hospitality industry.
