Good Morning Early Birds
69 Answers
morning one and all, i hope you are well and in good spirits.
will you be watching the football later on this evening, and if a tennis fan the Men's singles final at Wimbledon. I doubt if i will watch either, as i am off to have lunch at a friends house this afternoon, and I get too nervous when watching England play, but i hope sincerely they win.

I will pack the brolly just in case, but i got caught out in a monsoon last week, coming out from the hairdressers, and ended up soaked to the skin.
looks like the birdies are all asleep, apart from one, i confess to being awake for a while, and could do with more sleep, but that is now out of the question.... looking forward to meeting up with my mate and her family for lunch, they are both good cooks so i am sure everything will be good. This is the first time i have been to their place since lockdown began. Another 8 days and we should be able to forget the masks etc, that is unless Boris and crew change their minds again about easing of rules.
Morning all, an overcast one here and a sixty percent chance of rain today, so not good for the food fight on the Estate here (festival).....for me, coffee out with a friend, back and make the adult mac cheese for this evening and then supper at 7,30 as we slide into the match. Wimbledon on too.....the better woman won yesterday! That old favourite fan of Centre Court Finals Day, 'First-Time Nerves' had quite a lot to answer for yesterday.
Have you seen Tonyav's 'Prayer of the Day'?
Our father, who art in Wembley, Southgate be thy name.
The cup will come, Kane's work will be done, in London as it was in Rome
Give us this day our daily pint And forgive Sterling’s offside trespasses, as we forgive those who bet against us.
And lead us not into under-achievement. But deliver us the title.
For football’s coming home.
The history and the glory.
Forever and ever.
Our men.
