So we had flooding a couple of weeks ago, heatwave last week and now more flooding. Do you think this is to do with climate change or other factors?
Obviously the flooding in the UK is nothing compared to the devastation on the continent.

//No it didn't. Read the OP.
Still in denial about what's happening on a larger scale than your pathetic little sewers ?//
Er..the title “Flooding in London and the surrounding areas”. By my interpretation “the surrounding areas” of London do not stretch as far as Germany. I didn’t mention sewers. The flooding seen last week has nothing to do with the sewerage system. It came about because of road design, the inadequacy of the drainage system to get the rainwater to the sewers (which are perfectly adequate for dealing with heavy rainfall) and the lack of maintenance of those drains.
//Yeah, it's the fault of the Romans.//
Nobody said that either. It was said that London has flooded since Roman times. Nobody blamed the Romans. It was just a timeframe reference. You really need to get a grip.

Well that’s a result. I suppose some good has come of the question.
