call me cold hearted, but how many dinghy arrivals this year alone, now we are supposed to house feed support x amount of afghans, i suppose if you could? kick out all the male dinghy illegals and all the foreign criminals in prison and the ones still walking the streets, pie in the sky of course, but do you think we should let x amount in, and where are they going to live, and be supported, i guess we don't council waiting lists anymore for the indigenous brits..

My only concern is who might slip under the radar, the speed of the Taliban return makes me wonder if they already had members hidden in the main population. Maybe even working with the allies as sleepers. Work for the allies. Free pass to the uk. Would t need to be many to foment trouble in existing communities.

Our borders should be totally closed to all immigrants. UK is a small country hugely populated already. We are supporting immigrant families who will never get a job, never pay tax, refuse to learn English or integrate and be a burden on the NHS.

Are the two mutually exclusive? Why can't we help both. The nurses, firefighters and coppers aren't getting dragged out of their houses and being shot in the head for being a traitor. The UK owes a debt of gratitude to those who helped us during the conflict and should look to repay that debt.

Of course, we owe those that helped us the safety of refuge here. We should think ourselves lucky to live in a country with the reputation it has for helping others not so lucky. We are limited with what we can do though, but helping those who have helped us is essential.
