Should I Still Report A Potentially Lost Dog That I Saw 10 Days Ago?

10 days ago I saw a dog with a collar in my yard. I walked back inside and when I came back out I didn't see it. I posted about it in my local buy and sell page and the lost and found page. I also called the humane society and they said they would keep an eye out for it. There is another buy and sell page with more members I was gonna post on but forgot. Should I still post about it? Im afraid ill get nasty comments from people asking me why I'm posting about it almost 2 weeks later.

I presume you are in the U.S. In the the U.K. you would contact your local Council who has a dog warden that would go and get it or the the R.S.P.C.A.

Cindy, leave it. You did what was right when you first saw the dog and for all you know its gone back to its owner. Why do you think you will be fired for not posting about a potentially lost dog, which doesn't make sense?
