I never met sam an ella but i dont want to are you more likely to meet them on organic or free range chicken compared to the other stuff

I don't think Sam and Ella really care about the origin of the chicken.

Good question, the free range organic breeders would say their chickens are healthier because they have a better lifestyle. The 'other stuff' would say all their chickens are pumped full of chemicals to keep them from being ill so in fact are healthier. I only buy Free range (not organic) because of welfare concerns . All animals need to be dewormed and I don't think there is a truly effective way of deworming using organic methods. I once found an oven ready organic chicken with remnants of round worms in 'the cavity' -put me off organic for life that did.
I thought cooking chicken thoroughly killed any trace of Sam and Ella?
It dies tiggs -but you could potentially cross contaminate if you did not follow hygiene rules on handling raw chicken -touching the salad for instance.
It's not so much Sam & Ella that I would be concerned about, more meeting Di & Rhea from a turning chicken, the rendez-vous being in Mr Crapper's room.
Don't wash chicken either, as that risks spreading bacteria.

Chicken omelette, must have ate a quarter of it (smothered in curry sauce) before I realised most of the eggs and the chicken were uncooked.
Strange really. The way they cook omelette should ensure it's well cooked throughout.
I had a smidge from a M&S chicken - the only compensation being a financial compensation when I took back the label that was still 'in date' - and they knew me.

A total of 135 processed free-range chickens from four different commercial free-range chicken producers were sampled in 14 different lots for the presence of Salmonella. Overall, 9 (64%) of 14 lots and 42 (31%) of 135 of the carcasses were positive for Salmonella.

Goes without saying, APG. Hands definitely washed before handling anything else.

A handy tip for chopping boards used for raw chicken is to place board in sink and pour a kettle of just boiled water over it and the knives. Then wash as normal once cooled.
Hopefully I was, Peter - I wouldn't have wanted to be underneath - or even under the bed.....
Tiggs, yes I do that too, plus I spray with anti bac cleanser.

Lol you lot do make me lauff sometimes thanks for the answers so far dont think sam and ella will be visiting i put the breasts in for 25 minutes i winged it pun intended
Most outbreaks of salmonella is down to bad hygiene, humans can also be carriers without having symptoms and not know it. A few years back 15 people worked in a food factory, that supplied about twenty shops, x amount of people who had bought goods from the shops ended up in hospital, we traced it back to the factory obviously, All 15 workers at the factory had their poo poo tested, one worker proved to be the carrier.
