Yet another clanger from this man whose ambition far outweighs his ability.How has he confused Marcus Rashford with Maro Itoje.How is he still in one of the most important cabinet positions in the country.

I think Gavin Williamson is fairly useless as education Minister, but I don't understand why he should be expected to recognise sportsmen. He's not Minister for Sport. I wouldn't recognise either of these two gentlemen. I'd have hoped that anyone except the Minister for Sport would be far too busy with their own dept. matters.

Surely you would recognise the one you had spoken with on a zoom session? When the zoom session was arranged, did Williamson not ask his aides, "Who is it i'm going to be speaking with?" Had it been Diane Abbot who had got confused over who she had spoken to in a zoom session someone , many on AB would have been all over it like a rash.

because he'd spoken to him, jourdain? Both players have been pursuing education matters - Rashford about school meals and Itoje about internet access for schoolkids under Covid - so it's reasonable enough that they'd had contact.

This smacks to me other people taking offence on behalf of others. The two chaps in question seem quite good humoured about it.

Private Pike may well be useless but on this one its a non story.
