I can't think of any former leader doing that & in such a short time too.
Afghanistan debacle & now 11,000 Haitians just waded across the Rio Grande in to Texas, go figure! as they say.

I’d imagine Biden’s rating during the Trump presidency would have consistently been above the president’s. And that also would have been meaningless.
Nonetheless the fact that 48% of Americans “approve” of a man who denies climate change, tried to have a democratic election overturned by his VP, and is openly motivated by “revenge” for a possible comeback.
Is depressing.

ken //Danny, i believe you are mis-remembering. Had Trump still been in power, he intended to bring the troops out as early as May.//
True, but that was part of the Doha deal which had safeguards. sleepy joe when elected in the meantime reneged on that deal & later simply pulled the troops out - I don't need explain the ineptitude of that action do I?
'The deal - secured by Donald Trump and signed in Doha, Qatar, in February 2020 - committed to the withdrawal of US and allied (including British) troops from Afghanistan by May 2021.
In the same deal were broad obligations on the Taliban to take steps to prevent groups including al-Qaeda from threatening the security of the US and its allies.'

//the party have a very credible Vice President in Kamala Harris .//
Are you serious, this lady was thrown out of the presidential selection in the primaries (by her own party). If she gets into power there will be all hell to pay.
And to date she has not been much cop has she(and thats ignoring the hyena laughs).

"Not starting a war" shouldn't be a rule to measure a successful leader by. And as for the withdrawal, well, that hasn't put Afghanistan back under extremist control, potentially destabilising the whole area or anything has it?
Trump and Biden share responsibility for that, and for whatever happens as a result.
