I saw one fan on TV who said that if Man City can do it, then Newcastle can do it. I admire the Newcastle fans, I really do. I think they're the best fans in this country because no matter what garbage is happening behind the scenes, they always support the team, home and away. But Man City had the extra motivation of catching up with, and overtaking, their Red neighbours. I'm not convinced that the takeover will have the desired effect, ie, winning The Premier League in the next 5 to 10 years. And with that statement, it looks like goodbye Steve Bruce.
