The Internet and Social Media has given those of little reasoning power the ability to comment and opine on the general state of politics. Do you think this is good for democracy, or, given the profound ignorance generally expressed by them, think it's just a pain in the posterior. Like Wasps.

If nothing else it preserves the sense of superiority in others.

it also provides an outlet for megabrains like yourself, though, who would previously have been able to air their views only in learned quarterlies published in Latin.

Should there be an entrance exam before we're allowed onto the internet? How can this be made to work?
It's a good question, jno, even the much vaunted entrance requirements for Mensa show how easy it can be for the slightly enfeebled to pass muster. :-P

Rationality is not a prerequisite for reproduction or posting opinions on the internet. Neither bode well for democracy.
Zacs, do you think voting rights should be restricted to the better educated or perhaps pass an IQ test before being given the right to vote?
maybe crossword puzzles, like the Enigma auditions. Maybe solving sudokus with only two numbers
