Why is this stuff still available n YouTube?

Choudary, in my opinion one of the most dangerous men in the country, was recently released from prison and the ban preventing him from speaking in public has been lifted.

Damn savage...
We do like a stick to beat ourselves with.
but it is far nicer to have a free speech stick, to beat others with....
not that I am pointing the finger at any one person

I thought the speech from the family was dignified
but I cant say, having gone to the same skool I was er radicalised by anything the monks taught me
Question Author
PP, The same school as Choudary? Amess? Ali Harbi Ali?
madrasa al alia ?
good point
my school didnt radicalise me
and supposedly their did

and I invite you to conclude that is not the school but the person

I knew I shouldn't have bothered asking. :o/
This is quite an insightful read ...

"Far from stopping Barry engaging with anti-women content, Facebook and Instagram appear to have promoted it to him. By contrast, there was no anti-women content on TikTok and very little on Twitter. YouTube suggested some videos hostile to women."

i.e. the algorithms on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube take someone who is initially quite passively "anti-" something (in this experiment, women), and feed them more and more content to promote that feeling, which pushes them from passive to active.

More on Panorama tonight ...
put the damn savage back in the nick.
On what grounds could he be gaoled?
Frankly I can't understand why anyone uses Twitface etc.

Corby, he was jailed for inviting support of IS - and if he hasn't taken his videos down, he's still doing it.
Why is the main stream media, politicians & police saying what is required is more vigilance (in other words, it's our fault) when the elephant in the room is fundamental Islam?
That is what should be addressed & dealt with.
exactly khandro/naomi, preaching hate is a crime isn't it? gawd plod will break your door down for a slightly un woke comment on twitface, yet Islamic nut jobs can fill you tube with hate sermons and that's alright, something very wrong there.

___________

Because I get to discuss hot topics/breaking news a day or more before Answerbank catches up.

For instance, I was reading a twitter thread from a woman in Norway who witnessed the crossbow maniac in action.
That's proper breaking news.
When did he make the speeches and did he put them on YouTube?

I'm not defending him but if you know the videos are on YouTube and he or they are breaking the law, would the police not also know?
They’ll probably have a couple of PCSO’s look into it.Pritti hopeless needs to get things moving in several directions.
Question Author
Corby, I won't post anything here, but I've had a quick look and there are quite a lot of interviews from the BBC and other media outlets where he is promoting extremist Islam and Sharia Law. As far as I'm aware he also has a Twitter account.
Just done a search on YouTube and cannot find any Anjem Choudary preaching. If they were there once, they aren’t any longer.

Even if the videos once existed and have been removed from the service, the preachings could have been downloaded and disseminated by message and email.

The link in your OP states his internet and mobile phone use was also restricted.
Question Author
Good - but he's still spouting his bile, albeit courtesy of others.
// As far as I'm aware he also has a Twitter account. //

Nope, just searched Twitter. There are 10 accounts, but none are genuine.
