We are bombarded by these organisations for money.Surely it is not beyond the wit of government to ensure the overseas aid we provide goes towards treating these eye conditions and provide education for girls and not end up in the pockets of politicians in these countries.

How come I paid £1700? 10p a day gives water to a village that it never rains on but my water bill is eye watering and it hasn't stopped raining here for days. The shed is full of adopted creatures and the smell is beginning to be a worry. I blame the Mountain Gorilla. Wish I had stuck to just feeding the birds.

A lot of our Overseas Aid goes on 'gain of function' labs and other nefarious projects. There's probably some rule/law against actually helping people.
Anyway, if we abandoned all the charidee work, thousands would be chucked out of work and we'd have to go back to 3 TV channels.
