Merely as a ‘by the way’ I use the phrase “Covid worshippers” on purpose to annoy them, simply because as somebody who can assess the risk (and risk is what I do for a living), I get annoyed by being described as a Covidiot. What’s good for the goose and all that!
// we cannot "control" a virus. It will spread whatever we do. //
yeah like small pox or polio

how come a 14 y o can understand that successive negative testing tells you something about infectivity or how it might control the daily - - rate
and a judge cant?
trouble is DD people use the term Covid worshippers to cover anyone who advises caution, follows expert scientific guidance, doctors advice, being considerate to others, taking sensible harmless precautions like mask wearing in enclosed spaces. getting jabs, isolating when positive. testing thereself before visiting vulnerable people.
I never call anyone a Covidiot, who does, but I query why some ignore medical advice and warnings and think they always know best instead?
^ in first sentence " people" should say SOME people
I can't believe how many fit and healthy people who have been double jabbed and now in a lot of cases have had the booster, still live in fear of this virus. They really have been brainwashed by all the doom and gloom in the media. Personally, Im in my 60s and now lead my life as normally as I can, I visit bars, restaurants and supermarkets regularly, never wearing a mask, never had so much as a sniffle. Maybe I've been lucky, I don't know but as far as I'm concerned, I've forgotten all about it and got on with my life and as soon as covid is mentioned on the BBC (which is every bloody day) I turn it off, not interested. Its time people got a grip and stop being frightened by something that is actually not going to kill you or put you in hospital anymore.
Yes every week tho there's another 1000 who can't turn off there tv anymore as they have just died with covid.
I go to work everyday and still go out by the way. Don't lincve in fear but take precautions and test regular before visiting relatives
