My mum pronounces uncle as arncle. Does our head in.
Rockweiler
Agree with skelenton. Everyone knows its skellington.
Lots of people here say amberlance and poplar for popular, and am sure Bobbisox will confirm lots of Geordies and mackams say fillum

'Of' instead of 'have', and 'after' instead of 'have to' - bobbinwales take note :-)
probly
Dashund for Dachshund, we don't say bash for Bach, the composer.
Glarsgow.
Not so much a mispronunciation, as a grammar mistake.

In Babushka, Kate Bush sings "he could not have made a worst move"

It really annoys me.
VULCAN, how do you pronounce "Bach"?
Re: Bach. The question is - do you Anglicise (or not) foreign names/places?
For example, who tries to get "van Gogh" pronounced as it's meant to be?
Some of these are down to regional speech patterns - Aksed being a case in point.

I can never understand why every single BBC employee, news readers, DJ's, everyone, says 'Secatary' in stead of 'Secretary'.

It may be a 'London' thing.
Scent , as in perfume which letter is pronounced silent the S or the C
TCL, I knew somebody would ask that. I was making the point that Dach in Dachshund is similar to Bach so why do people say Dash?
How can you mispronounce scent?
^anybody with class would say "parfum"!
