Vile woman, can't begin to imagine slapping a horse around the face or kicking it, you don't "reprimand" a horse, you train it and reward and praise it when it does well.

I saw that yesterday, LB. Really angered me. You can see the viciousness in her.
"She absolutely loves her horses". God help the horses she doesn't love.
No not at all, there are ways to control horses without the need to resort to violence.
I was so shocked when I watched that - absolutely disgusting!!
I found it very distressing - what a despicable person.
No it most certainly is not! I've had horses most of my life and one huge 'no no' is hitting a horse in the face. Also kicking a horse in the chest is an act of aggressive cruelty. Having said that, this is done by a women who finds it a 'sport' to go hunting and killing wild animals so I'm not surprised.
I can't believe that anyone would defend such conduct. Disgusting.
I'm absolutely fuming about this. I couldn't look at the video on Mail Online yesterday, or any of the pictures. Reading about it was bad enough. Any decent person knows you DO NOT reprimand any animal by viciously beating it and I can't for the life of me think why it needed 'reprimanding' anyway ! I am glad that the RSPCA are on her case and I hope they see it through. I know she has been suspended from the Pony Club she's involved in and I hope more people shun her. The uncle is as stupid as her ....
These sorts of people are generally bred with the belief that horses are a commodity and nothing else
And I agree with APG, if she is of the mindset that thinks it's absolutely fine to hunt an animal to exhaustion and to end up being ripped apart by hunting dogs, then she is going to care very little for the welfare of a horse in her 'care' !!
Appalling behaviour. "...She is very well thought of and respected." - not so much now, I'd bet.
Stickybottle -what sort of people would that be then? Because all the people I know that own horses would never dream of kicking them or punching them in the face!

Very distressing to see. Violence against any animal is inexcusable. How on earth can anyone justify her actions?
If you let the video roll it goes on to show another man kicking a horse in the shoulder to move it over. I don't know who these people are, but they should have their animals taken off them.
Very upsetting. Poor horse.
Saying that, although there are people understandably very upset, I don't like that she's had a lot of death threats, and has had to move to secret location with her children.
Sorry patsy, don't agree with you ! Death threats are only that 'threats', nobody will actually kill her. Maybe she needs to feel some of the fear that poor horse felt because you can bet your life that wouldn't be the first time she hurt it. Also she may now know how it feels to be hunted and terrified, as the poor foxes do !! I have NO sympathy for her whatsoever and despise cruelty to defenceless animals.
I hope the Queen gets to see this video.
We know the love she has for horses so perhaps she can get this horrible person locked up in the tower and throw away the keys.
Hope the RSPCA can do more than fine her.
Perhaps if she had showed some remorse and apologized, saying it was a moment of blind rage, for which she was truly ashamed, people would have been less critical. The fact her and her immediate circle are somehow trying to defend her is just making matters worse.
Burly how do you know she has hunted foxes?
And does everyone who has ever hunted deserve to be hunted themselves?

I am sure you can work it out for yourself but here are a couple of clues:
Those who are entitled and take part in hunts

Or some horse trainers

I am sure you get the idea

Stickybottle - are you saying that everyone who has ever taken part in a hunt would abuse their horse?
