On the Doorsteps of North Shropshire, opposition party canvassers are calling it the ,,,,,,Curse of peppa the pig....referring to Boris's shambolic speech.
Voters see it as further evidence of Tory incompetence....No wonder Labour are ahead of them in the Polls.
Gulliver//...No wonder Labour are ahead of them in the Polls.//
Which polls would that be?. You Gov and two other polls have them level at 35%.
Apg, That was 13th November. As the saying goes a week is a long time in politics.
DANNY, the latest poll on the YouGov website is dated 12th November.
the YouGov polls have a similar time frame. If you can find a Poll taken today or yesterday backing up your 35% / 35% please post it.
thanks Danny -so its 37/37 at the moment. I shall bookmark that site. However, it does show a sharp drop in popularity of the Conservative Party mirrored in a sharp increase in the popularity of the Labour Party, so the Tories are on particularly wobbly territory at the moment. One more Peppa Pig incident would be all that's needed.
Caveat: I support neither party politically.
APG, it is long time before the next General election by which time Boris will have got his act together or he will be gone.
.eu? Shurely shome mishtake.

Obviously propaganda from the cesspit of bloated self-interest. :-)

Was that something from the late Sean Connery phrasebook Douglas.

Dear Sir, writes Tony Rowe from Bristol
Daniel Finkelstein (Lord is right to say that Boris Johnson will never change. Theresa May's excruciating party conference speech came from the misfortune of a cough and a collapsing stage set. the shame of the Johnson CBI speech was entirely of his very own nature: disrespectful lazy and empty. Surely his party and the electorate can see Britain deserves better
