Is it because that's how they wish society was governed permanently?

Anyway, diddlydos on the left and she wants us to refuse to mask up as she dont like control.

//.....Welsh goverment are saying the Torys are not doing enough and should of kept masks all along//
Why should they have done that? I know you don't like to be bothered with numbers too much, but here are the figures for England and Wales for the last two weeks:
Wales: Population 3.17m; cases 31,585 (9,964 per million)
England: Population 56.22m; cases 494,988 (8,804 per million)

ask them not me newjudge. Am just reporting what they say and SN arent left wing.
But... if masks help which scientists say they do then Scotland and Wales for whatever reason would of been higher, it stands to reason. Theres so many other factor's at play like poverty, vacine roll out , health conditions, age you cant conclude anything about masks from your figures... and anyway are you using Gromit's cherry picking tecqniue of a period that suit's you,

Thanks danny but I'm not questioning masks. It was newjudge who is because he says wales and scotland had kept them compulsory in shops yet there figures are higher.
But my only reason for posting was to respond to diddlydo who said "It's the right wing Tories who have chosen to curtail our freedom by bringing back mandatory mask-wearing."" when in fact Scottish and Welsh goverments who a rent right wing Tories allso support mandatory masks.
I'm not sure why newjudge jumped in an had a dig about my dislike of numbers

//…and anyway are you using Gromit's cherry picking tecqniue of a period that suit's you,//
You can use any period you like (so long as one country had a mask mandate throughout and the other didn’t). I just chose the last fortnight because the numbers are easier to come by and Wales had a mask mandate whist England didn’t. I agree there are many other factors in play, not only here but everywhere else. That’s why it’s impossible to make any firm conclusions about the wearing of face coverings. With that in mind:
//…then Scotland and Wales for whatever reason would of been higher, it stands to reason.//
It doesn’t necessarily “stand to reason”. The stock answer is always “the numbers would have been higher [without the restrictions].” That is not a given fact but one of many possible conclusions.

Maybe you should read the scientific studies then newjudge. There all much more scientific than your far to simplistic analysis of comparing two countrys.
But as I said I 'd not come on to go ove rthe same ground with those who know better than scientists, I was just pointing out the incorrect statement by diddlydo and the over simplistic generalization's of dave 50's
