god, talk about being raised by wolves.
Wherever they go, wherever they end up -all the other prisoners will know what they have done. Trust me, life will be Hell on earth. All female prisoners will have heard that little lad wailing 'nobody loves me'. The result for the step mother will be utterly horrendous. God help her.
Tustin refused to attend the court for sentencing. Why was she not forced to go; to stand there and receive her punishment?
she only missed the sentencing, the punishment's barely started. It may end in 2050, who knows.
Dragging her up from her cell, possibly wailing and screaming would have been more upset for the exhausted and harrowed jury in my view.

She's been sentenced.
Just seen an Interview with Boris Johnson about this and him saying there will be a full enquiry.He says the usual”lessons will be learnt”but by this incompetent group of people ( social workers)they never are.
according to the news last night there are some 80,000 children in care homes, that is a massive amount of cases.
i am not saying that they were right, the social workers, how they missed this little boy crying out for help is beyond me. But their case loads must be horrendous.
His Grandmother says she knew and must have communicated to someone.Surely they should have took this on board.There are no doubt some very competent social workers who are “snowed under” but there are some very incompetent ones who are in the wrong job.
if the grandparents knew, why didn't they go to the police and lodge a complaint.
Emmie, I read somewhere that the Grandfather tried to get help, but was told by the police that they would charge him with breaking lockdown regulations if he went to the child's home. How true this is - I don't know.
That poor little boy :-(
They should both receive a full term life sentence.
My experience with social workers ( children’s services) they are damed if they do and damed if they do. Their case loads are horrendous .
* don’t .*
some get in the honours list but not all are "damed"
Much appreciated Dave. ( you smart man ).
Julian Knight MP for Solihull has approached the Attorney General to review the sentences as being to lenient.This review has apparently been agreed.
