maggie: you have not hit a nerve. I am merely pointing out that your perception of my activities is based on no knowledge or analysis. Have you logged the times between all my posts? have you analysed the amount of down time and when it is? Why have you assumed I do 9-5?
It might be more meaningful betting on how many more decades it will be until Labour win another general election?
^^^^ good point!
To challenge any government, you need a strong, united and credible opposition. The last time they came even close to this was under their most successful leader ever, the legendary "Three time" Tony. Says it all, doesnt it?!
Gulliver, are you going to address my question @10:12 or are you going to prove everyone correct over your seeming avoidance to engage intelligently?
mozz, when has gulliver ever responded to any request for clarification etc?
What are the latest odd ?
Maggie @11:18. As you seem to be blissfully unaware, AB is a public forum. You don't get to choose who can and can't reply to your posts, and being rude to anyone you don't want to hear from won't be changing that anytime soon.
Well, certainly not one of mine Tora. I'm just giving him the chance to change the habit of a lifetime and contribute to the topic like an adult, rather than a petulant teenager.
//"Most of his posts are made during his working hours . "//

Bizarre, I thought 'working hours' for many went out the window years ago. From past comments I'd guess TTT is in a similar line to myself and therefore paid a 'professional' wage or if contract (probably not as he says he has an annual review) by a 'daily rate'. I have worked both of these, it means you are paid to do the job not turn up. Often that has meant hours overnight or at weekends.

And believe me it is not easy being up in the middle of the night fixing some rubbish someone has written and recovering from the crash when billions of dollars are backing up!
"whispering in corners of the HOC boozer is a long way from instigating a leadership contest to remove a sitting PM"

true... but that's where all leadership contests start...
Another * gulliver* thread in news .
".....rather than a petulant teenager. " - that would be an improvement!

YMB, I am grateful for your attempt to enlighten. I will confirm nor deny your evaluations on here but suffice to say that many on this site seem to live in their own little world never even comprehending that not everyone does 9-5 and/or set number of hours.
Back to the thread, it is my humble opinion that Johnson is finished, certainly with vast swathes of the public and it would certainly seem also with a growing number of Tory MP's. Yes, the opposition is so appalling they may not win but other Parties may well bite into the Tory vote (eg REFORM) and split it giving Labour a backdoor in. It will be those MP's with lower majorities (especially the so called red wall Tories) that will see themselves at risk. They will be the ones submitting letters of no confidence to Sir Graham Brady to push the 1922 into action.

It's a real mess and all down to Johnsons inability to tell the truth. He got us over the line with Brexit but his liberal green policies, clearly driven by his wife, do not chime well with Tory voters outside the Metropolitan bubble, especially floating voters. The Conservatives need to remember. Middle England giveth and Middle England taketh. They wont vote for a donkey because it has the right colour rosette on it.

Oh, and my fave is Rishi, although Liz Truss would be acceptable.
Yes, TTT. What I wrote is what I have done. But if you do work like that then you get all my sympathy its not easy sometimes, especially with some of the Seniors breathing down your neck!
