I get that she's "british"
by why would the NHS fund her (probably extensive) care when her family (and other strangers) bring her back? |She doesn't have enough insurance to cover her needs, and presumably hasn't paid tax here since she moved abroad Any reason why the NHS should be expected to pay? (it will, but that's not the point)
There's a film been made about her. Not a documentary. As I read the link I got the deja vu feeling and then remembered why! That film would have made her money surely!
That says it happened in 2013 about Samantha Bloom, but this is Jill Dodds. Maybe they should sort out their balconies there...
I agree, she should be brought back. It's a freak life-changing accident. The NHS disorganisation is far more widespread than helping someone like this.
I get your point, bednobs. I have little patience with those who take no responsibility for themselves such as those who think it acceptable to travel abroad with no insurance and beg for money through GoFundMe when things go wrong; same with those who don't insure their homes or keep thousands of pounds under their mattress.
Don't blame her family for wanting her home, though
