One year on from Brexit. This poll says voters believe Brexit has done more harm than good,
and has harmed....Britains Interests.. Majority believe Boris Johnson lied to them about how the UK would benefit ,especially The (Red Bus £350m) Lie. Few voters have yet experienced any benefit but have found it difficult to access a range of services and goods The promise to take back control of UKs borders has also failed . Many travellers to E/U Countries have also had problems with some being refused entry.
.........Majority say if they had the chance to vote again they would.... re-join the E/U..

After seeing Boris this morning visiting a hospital I'm concerned any other world leader will take us seriously. He looked like a badly tied up bag of spuds. His grey-ish, white-ish shirt looked like it had spent the night screwed up at the bottom of the bed, his pants hung half way down his ass. I've seen street cleaners looking smarter.

During the Brexit debate – I don’t recall anyone saying that it would take at least 5 years before we see the benefits.
No doubt in 5 years time that time period will be extended.
Hymie //No doubt in 5 years time that time period will be extended.//
That might depend on whether or not we are still plagued by Covid.
When I was considering which way to vote. I was thinking what was best in the long term.
I still think we will look back in years to come and say thank heavens we got out
It didn't need saying - it was obvious that the EU would try to take revenge for our defection & to discourage other would-be leavers, so a period of difficulty was always anticipated (by me anyway).

13.24 Yes Ladybirder I will be very chuffed to see the Brexiteers have a sample of their own medicine .
gully - you're in luck. You can no longer be hanged for treason - only life imprisonment!
has gulliver ever got a stat correct?
hymie: "To the Brexiteers, the number on the side of a red bus was not a lie, or has conveniently been forgotten about. " - err no the NHS is getting at least that much extra.
TTT //has gulliver ever got a stat correct?//
Not that I can remember.
"The real outcome of Brexit will take at least 5 years to materialise"

Right up there with 'it'll a be over by Christmas', 'of course I'll still respect you in the morning' and 'your call is valuable to us'.

& I promise I won't come in your mouth! Ooops!
oh dear - only 15 hours & I've broken my NY resolution - back to the drawing board!

Brexiteer's Rule the waves Ain't Gonna Happen , those days have gone....
Those that thought, and still seem to think, that leaving something as large as the EU after being a member for nearly 30 years, would be resolved in a few weeks are naïve at best. Common sense would dictate that it would take years and those of us who voted leave realised and understood that.
TTT - A recent issue of Private Eye exposed the myth that the NHS received additional funding as a result of Brexit, ridiculing Rees-Mogg for making such a claim.

Ah! Private Eye that hugely anti-Brexit rag. Must be true.
And true to Gulliver's form here come the insults..

15.19 Only replying to your insult @14.52
That wasn't an insult it was an opinion and it was also true.
